This has been the best day ever and one I will remember forever. So many good thigs are happening that I am about to crawl out of my skin.
Allie's trach tube is still capped so she is breahing 100% on her own. The respiratory doctor ws in earlier and siad either tomorrow or in the next few days he will take it our totally. That is just so huge.
Her friend Kristen was her earlier and again Allie amazed us. I placed a ball in her hand and asked her to to throw it to me and she dit!!! Not once or twice but three time. She still tires very easily and she had had enough after three or she just didn't feel like performing anymore.
Now for the best part!!!!!!!!!!! When I went down for lunch, Nancy gave her a pen and held a a pad for her and Allie wrote Dad & Matt. Just like that, she held the pen correctly and wrote just as if everything were OK. She then wrote bff (best friends forever)(Rachael and Kristen has come and gone) can stay. She then looked at the clock and wroke down waht time it was, even using the : separator. We jumped up and down. Allie is there, she is thinking and her motor skill are working.
We have ALWAYS believed that Allie would be alright and make a complete recovery and she is nothing short of a miracle. We have never been more exctied of full of faith. This truly is a miracle. Oh, I forgot to tell you, she also drew a picture of a person or an angel and drew a heart above it. She definitely sees things that we do not.
Matt will be here shortly, our good friend Kelly is driving him down, thanks baby and our nephew Mike Va is flying in from NY this evening. I could keep writing and writing but I am so excited I'm just going to hug and kiss OUR little girl.
God Bless, keep the prayers coming.

Dear Steve & Nancy,
I have been out of touch and just heard about your precious Allie today. Cliff & I saw you in the Verizon store, perhaps just days before this happened. I am ecstatic that Allie's condition has turned around so dramatically!! Indeed we have a Heavenly Father who listens and cares!! May He continue to give you and your family strength as you walk throught this, and, most of all, may He continue to restore Allie!!
Much Love & Prayers,
Tim Coleman

This is the best day ever!!! Yippee for Allie!! This is a beautiful miracle day as all have been, but this one reall is special!! She is here, aware and complete and to show such amazing recovery so fast is truly a gift. I have told everyone how incredibly fortunate Allie is to have the two most loving, healing parents in the world. You have brought her back by guiding her strong spirit. We love you all so much and are celebrating this day! Love, Tibby
Well, you better watch out because that kid of yours is going to be 100% before any of us will believe it. We are so happy that Allie is fighting so hard. Absolutely amazing, uplifting news. Go,Allie, go!!

So happy to hear about Allie's progress! I sang at ACT last night "...I INSIST ON MIRACLES....DON'T BE AFRAID!" and it was with Allie in mind, I assure you.
I plan to see you all on Tuesday.
Love, Ginger
AWESOME!!! Just finished reading the Saturday evening report but couldn't figure out how to post to that one, so hopefully you'll get this in the earlier post.
Kent and I were in Anderson for business today and came by the hospital at about 8:45. Missed you but peeked in to see Allie as the nurse was there. She looks so pretty and "present" in her body. We're so excited to hear the great updates.
Lots of love.
Kent & Ondine
