Monday Afternoon, September 17th

Hi everyone!! This is Allie for the first time! I would love to thank each and every one of you for all of your gifts and prayers. They have helped me so much. I'm soo thankful that I'm completly better. It was a scary situation for everyone involved and aware of it. The prayers really helped. I'm so happy to see all the love I have. Thank you all for your attention to everything.
Love, Allie

Sweet Allie! How exciting to have received a message from YOU! I am sure that you know how much your family loves you and how amazing they all are. I wonder if you know, though, how inspiring all of you are to us. I am from Oklahoma City - I have never met you or your family in person, but I was directed to this blog and have followed it faithfully ever since. To hear how hard everyone has worked to provide you with the best care, the best support and the best of intentions is inspiring to me, halfway across the country, even! I am thankful to have found this blog (thanks FlyLady! :o) because I can read of all of the ups and downs and walk away feeling blessed and encouraged to do more for my own friends and family and even strangers. It reminds me not to take anything for granted and when someone tells me how I have been a blessing to them, I want to enjoy it...not ignore it and think that I am not. I can be a blessing and be thankful that God has given me that opportunity - partially because your dad is so gracious with his thanks for the little things: a quick message, a heartfelt word and ESPECIALLY a prayer. Enjoy your dad and the rest of your AMAZING family - I hope one day to be able to meet you all. Much love and STILL many prayers from OKC!

Allie- You don't know me either, I'm from Massachusetts and my daughter Rachel, who is 16, was in a bad accident about 2 months after yours. I'm so glad your dad set up this site and FULL RECOVERY.net. Your dad is awesome. We got our tee shirts and bracelets today. Rachel is wearing them now. I know Rachel will get better just like you. You and Rachel are both miracles like the bracelets say. Thank you again and keep praying for FULL RECOVERY!

Oh, Allie! What an absolute thrill to finally hear from 'our girl' herself -- You!!!
We are so excited for your FULL RECOVERY. Every day is one step closer, don't you feel it!!!!
You will never know how many individuals and families you have inspired and lead closer to God because of the huge ordeal you have been through. Not to say all the ups and downs are done, just mellowing for now. We all know that life, though full of pits or mountains, these make the soaring all that much more full of joy and hope.
You are so blessed to have a family that covers you in prayer, and loves you unconditionally. Oh that the world could know their Savior and Lord as you do.
Well, I just can't send enough hugs and love your way (here come the purple puddles), but just know that you and your family are ever in our thoughts and prayers. Sorry, but you are now a part of our family and ever will be.
We continue to pray God's richest and most tender blessings upon you as you continue to reach for the stars! NEVER A DOUBT!!!=>
All our continued love & prayers,
Marla & Family

Hi Allie! My name is Olivia Van Leuven and I had a car accident on January 1, 2000. It gave me a traumatic brain injury, and after years of limping, a wandering eye, paralysis on my right side, and doing/saying the weirdest things, I'm fine now. I understand how weird this is, but if it's any consolation, I'm praying for you and it will soon be over.
love,
Olivia

Hello you little miracle from God! I am so excited to hear from you!!!! You don't know me, but I have prayed and rejoiced with your family since your accident. Today is such a wonderful day for me and just another miracle that proves that there is power in prayer. This will be very short because I cannot remember my password and I am not sure that I can even send this, but if not I will send it to your dad's e-mail tomorrow. Blessings my sweet girl and just keep on improving. Love from Texas...Mary

Cagen's, This is so crazy, but half of the time the blog police won't accept my password. I have sent many messages and sometimes they go through and other times they say my password is invalid. Just know that I have prayed and am rejoicing daily with each success that Allie has. Today when I read the note from Allie, I could not contain my happiness. This will be a special day for me and I can't wait to tell everyone who I have had pray for you that you sent your own blog. WOW!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK and WE ALL WILL KEEP PRAYING....Mary

Allie! How great! I am soo glad to see that you are actually writing yourself! Wonderful! I am so happy and tearful at the same time! The haul has been long and painful for you and your family - I pray the the next part of your FULL RECOVERY is easier and straightforward. I know you will get there with God's help - you have been, and continue to be prayed for by so many many people from all over this earth, that how could you not??

I am yet another person you don't know! I am a friend of someone who loves you very very much, and who sent me to your site - and I have followed it from Day One. I have been 'up and down' with your family and yourself. I have discovered FlyLadies (What on earth is a FlyLady, I asked myself when your Dad kept mentioning them! Well now I know, and my house is getting much tidier too!! Thanks Allie's Dad!)

Love and prayers to you, your family and carers from SusanJ, Edinburgh, Scotland

Dear Allie,

How wonderful to hear from you.

Or, as they say her in NY on Broadway, it's 'Delovely'!

Have a great day,

xoxo,

Allie,
Just the other day I was walking through the theater district, on my way to an audition, a block or so from my house in NYC and I saw this marque for a show. I had to blink for a moment because in my imagination it said "Full Recovery" starring Allie Cagen.
Perceive, believe, achieve. What you can envision, you can make happen. You're proof of that. Years from now, when you are back performing and your name is on a marque for real, this will be something for your conversation with Letterman or Leno. No doubt.

God Bless You Allie and your wonderful family. I have 5 children one of whom is a daughter the same age as you. Your story has reminded me time & time again what a blessing each of my children are to me and my husband. I keep you and all the others in my prayers. "Never a doubt!"
