10:15 PM - Well we come to the close of another good day. Althought Allie is still sleeping, we had a good day. She had her eyes open for a good amount of time today and even though she is not responding to commands yet, we feel certain it is only a matter of days (weeks?) until she wakes up and begins the road to recovery. Our faith has never been stronger.
Wish I could write more but I'm really tired. Tomorrow is another day of hopes, prayers and breakthrough.
Our family cannot thank you enough for your love and prayers. Allie is accepting visitors and cards can be sent to Allie Cagen, Greenville Memorial Hospital, 701 Grove Rd. Greenville, SC. 29605-5601 Neuro ICU Bed 4006A
Have a great night and keep blogging.

Steve, I am your mother's very good friend. I pray daily for Allie's recovery, and ask G-d's help for her Drs. who will restore her good health & wholeness.
My heart goes out to all of you, at this tragic & trying time.
Harriet
Allie's determination and spunky spirit are an inspiration to many. My own 18 yr old daughter is graduating next Saturday and I will be thinking of Allie during her graduation also. She had a close call several months ago, almost going over a freeway overpass and so Allie's situation is very close to my heart. Allie is blessing thousands of us by you sharing her wonderful bright life with us. We are sending blessings and prayers her way but she is also lifting us as we see her progress. Thank you so much for having this blog so that we can know how she is doing. Hugs, Kandi in Idaho
It was so good to see how much Allie had improved on Thursday and to read that the improvement continues still. Please know that Allie, Steve, Nancy and Matt are in my constant prayers. I will miss seeing you guys, but I know you faith and optimism will continue to carry the day. You guys have been an inspiration to me. Please tell Miss Allie that I plan to hold both you and her to that promise of a dance at her wedding.

Dear Allie,
How precious it was to be able to see you for a few minutes on Wednesday. Rachel and I both adore your eyebrows. You look like sleeping beauty waiting for your prince to arrive.
Knit together carefully, take your time, God's time, to heal. While we are all yearning to see your smile and hear your laugh we surround you with patience and love.
With constant thoughts and prayers, Ruth Lentz
Yeah, Allie!!!
Good joB!!! We're glad to hear you're working so hard at waking up. We've read every day, you are growing stronger and we're glad to see that you are trying so hard to show your family you're on your way back to them. We're proud of you girl!! Keep up the good work.
God is good!! He hears our prayers.
