Sunday Afternoon, August 26th

Back in the hospital again.

Once again Allie experienced a seizure (episode) after her shower but this time we don't know if she also had a reaction to the medication but it was worse then normal and she got real tired, stated running a fever was very wobbly on her feet, slurred speech, double vision, nystagmus (twitching of the eyes) and on and on............ Poor kid has been so good throughout all of this.

Called the neurologist and he recommended that we get her back here - so here we are. Damn!

Hopefully be back with better news later. She is in Greenville Memorial Hospital room 5522

God Bless
Allie's Dad

Dear Allie's family,
I have followed Allies progress since the accident and have kept all of you in my prayers. My niece lives in Brevard and sent an email shortly after the accident asking for prayers. I have rejoiced with you and cried with you on many occassions. I have often wondered how people survive trials like yours who don't have an intimate relationship with Jesus. My prayer for each of you is that you would feel His presence each and every day and see His sovereign hand in all you have endured! May He keep you in His perfect peace. Sincerely, Lori
PS- your mention of The Secret made me laugh because I just recently read a great commentary on it. Interested? Go to:

Dear Steve, Nancy, Allie and Matt, I couldn't believe it when I saw this evening's comments. I'm so sorry this has happened again. I know you are all in a turmoil, but Allie is in very good hands. You are in our thoughts and prayers as always. We are sending our love to you and knowledge that she will improve. Tibby and Homer

Dear Friends,

I asked for prayers again in church this morning (Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd) and gave a brief explanation of what was going on. You can count on prayers from the members and Pastor Rich. They are a wonderful body of believers and great prayer warriors.

I am sorry that you all are going through this, as if you haven't been through enough already, but God only gives us what we can handle... sometimes his opinion of what we can handle is much more than our own opinion of what we can handle, but He knows all!

You all continue to be lifted in prayer. We love you so much and thank you for your example of unconditional love and devotion. Even when you are being lashed out at, you are strong and supportive. Allie is blessed to have you both in her life and so are we.

Lynn, Ralph and Adam
